Personal Interests

Dr. Ajebon grew up in Mt. Airy, MD and is a mom to two active girls. In her spare time she enjoys serving in her church, traveling, reading and coaching her children’s track and field team.

Biography

Dr. Ajebon earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Campbell University where she graduated with honors. She then went on to Medical School at VCOM- Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA where she served as treasurer of the CMDA and was awarded the Distinguished Scholar Award in Emergency Medicine and was a Michael Bernadino Scholar. She continued her training in Family Medicine at VCU/Riverside in Newport New, Virginia where she was awarded numerous accolades including Outstanding Resident of the Year, Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award, Outstanding Resident Role Model and was nominated as the ACOFP Leadership Scholar. In her final year of training she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Ajebon has special interest in international medicine and women’s health. Dr. Ajebon is board certified in Family Medicine and sees patients of all ages newborn to geriatrics.
